About Me

“A self-taught, self-inspired young creative artist in the current digital era who began her journey in her early teenage years”, this is how I like to describe myself in the shortest way possible!

I’m an aspiring portrait photographer and a passionate poet, who aims to one day stand out as a successful, well-recognized artist in a world full of innovative minds. When it comes to photography, I like to mainly focus on shooting images from a different perspective, one which would bring out the hidden side to the shot and portray it in the most attractive way.

For poetry, I have always been inspired to write from within the depth of my heart, how I view the world but from the perspectives of those around me, in a beautifully rhyming selection of words. With passion and creativity, I welcome you to my world of images and words.

Why Photography? Why Poetry?

Both photography and poetry for me are like a mixture of a daily dose of happiness, that bring out my artistic side as my life path slowly unlocks its many doors ahead of me.

What interests me in these fields is that they are both such underrated methods of storytelling that people usually neglect as unprofessional, when in fact I believe they could be a more creative technique that can outshine the normal method of storytelling.

Personally, I like to try as much as I can to portray the current world as we know it from a different angle where I aspire to show the hidden, unseen or maybe the least attractive part of an object, and make it more appealing by gathering together a collection of aesthetic wordings to create a short anecdote.

I believe adding beautifully combined words to a simple picture can make one visualize a whole other world when linking it to how the image was shot, its location and the position or the appearance of the ‘object’ in the image.
